Privacy and Non Disclosure
Brick3DP respects the privacy of its customers and the confidentiality of their projects. This policy explains how we handle personal information, uploaded files and design details provided when requesting quotations or using our services.
Information We Collect
We collect information provided through enquiries, quotation requests and orders. This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing and delivery details, and project requirements.
Project information may include CAD files, drawings, images, specifications and other materials needed to assess or complete a job. Our website may also collect technical information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to support website operation and security.
How We Use Information
We use this information to prepare quotations, review designs, process orders, manufacture parts, arrange delivery and provide customer support. We may contact customers to clarify requirements or follow up on a quotation or order.
Personal information is not sold or rented to third parties.
Design Ownership and Confidentiality
Customers retain their existing ownership rights in the designs and files they provide. Submitting a file to Brick3DP does not transfer ownership of that design.
We use submitted project materials to evaluate and carry out the requested services. Access is limited to the people and service providers who need it for those purposes, with appropriate confidentiality obligations where project information is shared.
Customer designs, project photographs and identifying details will not be published in our portfolio, on social media or in promotional materials without permission.
Non-Disclosure Agreements
Projects involving unpublished designs, proprietary mechanisms or commercially sensitive information may require a separate non-disclosure agreement.
Customers can contact Brick3DP to discuss an NDA before submitting sensitive files. Any NDA must be reviewed and signed by both parties before information covered by that agreement is shared. Specific confidentiality terms will be governed by the signed agreement.
This page describes our general privacy and confidentiality practices; it does not replace a separately signed NDA.
Sharing Information
We may share the information necessary to fulfil an order with providers supporting payments, website hosting, file storage, manufacturing or delivery. For example, delivery details may be shared with a courier.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Storage and Retention
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information and project files from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle enquiries, complete orders, provide related support and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Customers may request deletion of project files, subject to any information we must retain for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.
Cookies
Our website may use cookies to support functions such as shopping carts, account sessions and saved preferences. Details of any analytics or advertising cookies, and the available choices, are provided through our cookie notice or settings where applicable.
Privacy Requests
Customers may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of their personal information, or to raise questions about the handling of their project files. We may need to verify the requester’s identity before responding.
Privacy enquiries and NDA requests can be submitted through the Brick3DP contact page.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in our services or information-handling practices. The current version will be published on this page.
